About Lauren Travis, Esq.

Attorney Lauren Travis is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer. Upon graduating from Emory University School of Law and becoming a licensed member of the Georgia Bar, she began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the trial division of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in Atlanta, Georgia. She has successfully investigated and prosecuted a variety of violent and non-violent offenses that also included crimes against women and children resulting in an Attorney of the Year Award in 2016. This dedication, skill and work ethic earned her the position of Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Major Crimes Division which investigated and prosecuted felony offenses which included murder, felony murder, voluntary and involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle and serious injury by vehicle. During her tenure, she tried over thirty (30) homicide cases as lead counsel (first chair).

After serving the people of Fulton County for eight (8) years, Attorney Travis took a position as associate trial counsel with an Atlanta insurance defense law firm that served a one of the country’s largest insurance companies. Attorney Travis successfully managed a high volume of personal injury cases from inception to trial for several years.
